In the lower left side of the image, the water splashes high as the eagle wrenches the fish from its watery home. The eagle dominates the image, its stunning wings spread wide as it is viewed in full-body profile from its right side. Here we see the Bald Eagle's characteristic dark body and wings, white head and tail, and powerful legs and talons. In the distant background, a rocky point dotted with sparse conifers reaches out into the water, showcasing the Bald Eagle's preference for isolated waterside habitats. Mintage: 5,290 / 8,500. Fine Silver Coin - Soaring Bald Eagle (Product #130525). Designed by Canadian artist Claudio D'Angelo your coin features a unique portrait of a Bald Eagle in flight. As the eagle turns abruptly in mid-air, angling itself to dive, you are presented with a view of the graceful raptor's underside.

Its outstretched wings, dark body, powerful legs, white tail and head, and yellow beak and talons are presented in stunning detail and full colour through selective paint application. In the background, we see the isolated shoreline of the body of water below.

A steep pine-covered hill rises to the left, its rocky shore dotted with islands and outcroppings. In the far distance, a similar shoreline rises on the opposite side of the water.

Your coin was designed by Canadian artist Claudio D'Angelo and features a Bald Eagle, wings extended to their full span, standing on the branch of a pine tree. The eagle is viewed in profile from its left side, the details of its impressive wings and distinctive snowy head and tail rendered in dimensional detail by Royal Canadian Mint engravers and augmented with selective gold plating. In its powerful left claw, the eagle clutches a freshly caught fish.

In the background, stylized clouds nod to the extreme heights at which the Bald Eagle prefers to perch and nest. Mintage: 8,466 / 8,500.
